Wii Fit Plus

Wii Fit Plus Review

Ok everyone has heard of the Wii and Wii Fit; now there is a Wii Fit Plus. It came out I believe two weeks ago. I bought mine at Wal-Mart for $19.98. Very reasonably priced in my opinion; actually I love that is was so affordable.

I loved the Wii and the Wii Fit but I felt I was getting used to the same games and exercises I was doing. When I found out about Wii Fit Plus I had to check it out. I was so excited to find out how affordable it was and that there were so many new activities couldn’t wait.

I used it several times through-out the first week and this past Sunday we had company from out of town that travels a lot and heard about the Wii but never played it. We started it up and played for hours. At first going through various games to show it off but when we came to the Wii Fit Plus it seemed like we stopped and kept going over the same things. We all (there were four of us) became quite competitive (which is new to me.)

Wii Fit Plus is different in ways that I couldn’t imagine. I felt that the first one needed to show me the calories that I burned well the Wii Fit Plus does. It also shows you how it is calculated. I love that you can ride a bicycle and it tells you how far you have gone; I am also surprised at how hard it is to keep going when you run into the grass to take shortcuts.

There are so many different Yoga technique’s to try out I am still not done with those but I am sure I will love them all. I still feel the burn and feel so much better already.

I love the aerobics; I believe I am an aerobics person always have been. I still get confused on the routine but I am getting there. I like the fast one the best, especially throwing that clap in with all the extra steps.

As said before in my opinion, I would definitely buy Wii Fit Plus it’s affordable and a lot of fun for the whole family.  I never imagined having company and exercising till 12:30pm.

I bought this at Wal-Mart to try for a simple dinner I didn’t have to do anything to. It was simple like the package says “Preps In 5 Minutes” it really does. The package was a big pricy in my opinion because it is cheaper for us to do it ourselves; meaning we always have left-over’s. It was still on $10.00. It was like a lot faster than buying a roast prepping it cutting and cleaning potatoes, carrots and onions. It was great that everything came vacuum sealed in two bags. The packaging also comes with a seasoning packed that you can just add in.

The timing on me using this product was GREAT; I had a busy day so it was perfect to jump up in the morning through everything in the slow cooker and go. When I came back home the house smelled so good I wanted to eat then but had to wait on Joe (my husband) to get home.

When we were finally able to sit down to dinner we were ecstatic. It was a colder evening and we both needed something warm to fill us up. Everything was so good; we were both surprised knowing that it came already package.

We will definitely try the other slow cooker meal that Tyson makes.

Dell Inspiron 9300

Dell Inspiron 9300

Dell Inspiron 9300

The laptop that I use is a Dell Inspiron 9300. I love it. The reliability is great, and I haven’t had any major issues since I bought it. Although, I bought it in 2004 it does need to be upgraded a bit as in the hard drive it’s only a 40 gig so when I put Windows Vista on it well it didn’t do so well storage wise. Not a problem I just put Windows XP Pro back on and everything is fine.

Since I bought my laptop I have upgraded the Ram no big deal but now thinking of upgrading the hard drive it might be a little bit of a mess. While working on another laptop I have found that there isn’t much room to work with inside those tiny computers.  So, I will definitely be taking a bit more time to think about it before I jump right in.

I’m looking at the performance of the laptop itself; like I said before not a problem. I must say I am surprised since my last statement to my husband was “why you’re just paying for the name.” All being considered the money was worth it, I have had any issues and it’s well outdated now and still no performance issues besides I need more space for storing my pictures which is not Dell’s fault.

EA SPORTS Active

EASACTwiiPFTfrontBOX

I will start off by saying EA SPORTS Active did not give me this game. I bought it with my money so this review is not influenced by any means.

EA Sports Active is AWESOME! I for one was surprised that is works. I heard so many people calling it a trainer in a box and that it was great for the people that couldn’t afford a gym membership or didn’t want to go to the gym; I had to find out for myself. I bought the EA SPORTS Active a few months ago and was very surprised in what I found. Not only did the workouts literally kick my but I was also sore for a couple of days afterwards.

When you start up the (we’ll call it Trainer in a Box) you have choices to make the easiest being your little mii (which I like better than my mii on the wii.) After you have set everything up you get to check out some of the exercises that are available. You can customize your workout to suit your abilities (for instance my knees aren’t so hot so I don’t do the squats like I should.) You can even start up the “Trainer in a Box” and just run or do a 30 Day Challenge that has rest days already built in for you.

You do get to pick your Trainer big decision male or female but I am telling you they will get on you if you slack. I love how the “Trainer” knows if I am slackin’ she (mines a female) will tell me to step it up or that I am almost done just a little more. The encouragement from a game is Awesome.

Not only does the EA SPORTS Active have high impact workouts but it has inline skating, boxing and other games to play and to me they all build on each other. The daily journal is great; it helps keep you on your toes and aware of what you are putting in your body. You can also add household/daily activities to your journal and get some credit for being Active while doing your daily routine.

Already, I have talked several people into buying this game and they love it as well. In my opinion I would give the EA SPORTS Active a 5 out of 5 stars. From what I hear in late November there is an expansion with some new exercises coming out. So, get your fast and get Active
